My Gramma (misspelled on purpose) Nonnemacher has been my inspiration for cookie making. That dear lady made us hundreds and hundreds of Christmas cookies every year when we went to visit her in Manitowoc, WI. My family, which included my Mom, Dad and three sisters, were such pigs about it. We could literally eat one dozen cookies EACH in one sitting. So my sisters and I have kept the tradition going, only now I make Gramma's Christmas cookies all year long. They bring back such good memories.
