Nepal was devastated three days ago from a massive earthquake. Pastor Paul Gurung from Kathmandu works with street/slum kids. My dad and I worked with him in Kathmandu last fall. Paul and his family are safe. Now it's time for him to get to work and help those in need. He needs money to buy food, water, medical supplies and clothing. Please help make a difference by donating at my dad's non-profit missions organization at www.goingglobalinc.org. All donations will go directly to Pastor Paul as he helps those in his area firsthand. Thank you for your generous hearts.
A place to display my cakes, cookies and cupcakes. I'd like to share my ideas and recipes, learn from other cakers, and just have fun.

Scalloped Ombre Cake for Emerald Randolph's CAST Retirement
Thank you, Emerald, for serving so faithfully in CAST as our fearless leader for over 20 years. You made a difference in the lives of hurting souls. We love you! Thanks to Frederick Isla for making the sugar cake topper. You are amazing! #TealNGB
Boudoir Bachelorette Cookies
Oh my! Don't make me blush! These were my first boudoir cookies for a friend's bachelorette party. They were super fun to make--each one unique.
Wedding Dessert Bar
A darling young couple got married in their parents' back yard, so a dessert bar was perfect for the occasion! I made a 6" lemon and raspberry cake, lemon bars, my famous toffee, mini cupcakes, and chocolate cups with raspberry mousse and mocha mousse.
Eat Dessert First Party
My little cousin Dustin thought whenever anyone ate at Cousin Aimee's house, they always get to eat dessert first. So we did! I made "cupcakes" out of meatloaf and mashed potatoes. Then of course for dessert we had coconut cupcakes, vanilla and chocolate cupcakes. Yum and super fun!
California Gingerbread People with the famous Cookiology Sandy Ellis
My sweet friend Sandy Ellis visited from Florida and gave me more cookie tips (and tools) as we made my extended family a California bathing suit gingerbread cookie with their name on it.
Pink Black and White Paris Cake
This was girlie and oh so fun to make for Abigail, an 11 year old who LOVES Paris. Someday she's going there! But in the meantime, a Paris cake will suffice.
Sunshine & Teddy Bear Cookies
Since my son AaronJesseBoy lives in Boston, and my mother lives in Wisconsin, they've been having a terribly snowing and freezing cold winter. So I sent them some bear hugs and sunshine in March. Warm hugs and kisses, Aaron and Mom!
Teddy Bear Baby Shower Cookies & Cupcakes
These were so much fun to make! The full-size bears were made out of gingerbread cookie dough--so yummy! The round cookies were Gramma Nonnemacher's sugar cookie recipe, with modeling chocolate on top. The cupcakes were chocolate with two different frostings. One was my famous browned butter cream cheese and the other a chocolate buttercream.
