I don't know why, but this cake is just about my favorite one I've made so far. The significance of it is that (as you can see) God blessed this family with five girls. Count them--1, 2, 3, 4, 5! And then they
thought they were done having children. Well, God has other plans for them. Along came the six baby--and you guessed it--a boy! Welcome, Evan Wayne Huhn. Snips and snails and puppy dog tails.
This cake also came at a time in my life that was one of the lowest emotionally. Things in my life I thought were certain were stripped from me, for no apparent reason. God used my love of baking, creating, and blessing this family to help me grieve a very sad time in my life. Praise Him for His faithfulness!
